Supporting the Eastern Health’s EMR Phase 2 Rollout: A Multi-Site Deployment Delivered on Time
Publish: July 2026
Another milestone. Another successful delivery. HPA has once again partnered with Eastern Health to advance their Electronic Medical Record (EMR) program, completing a complex, multi-site Phase 2 rollout across Victoria on time and ready for go-live.
Following the successful EMR deployment at Maroondah Hospital in late 2025, HPA was engaged to support Eastern Health’s Phase 2 rollout, a complex, multi-site program spanning Angliss Hospital, Peter James Centre, and Wantirna Health, with further deployments planned at Yarra Ranges Health and Healesville Hospital in August 2026.
Delivering Technology Where It Matters Most
At the heart of any successful EMR go-live is reliable, well-configured clinical technology, available at the right place, at the right time. HPA supplied and deployed a comprehensive range of clinical mobility and ICT solutions across each site, ensuring clinicians had seamless access to patient information at the point of care.
Angliss Hospital presented a unique dual challenge – supporting the EMR rollout while simultaneously equipping both the existing hospital and a significant new hospital expansion. HPA rose to the occasion, supplying and installing:
- Workstations on Wheels (WoWs)
- Wall-mounted workstation solutions
- Medical-grade monitors
- ICT hardware throughout clinical areas
Planning, Precision and Partnership
A deployment of this scale doesn’t happen without meticulous planning and strong collaboration. HPA’s project, logistics, warehouse, technical services and deployment teams worked in close coordination with Eastern Health’s ICT and EMR teams throughout every stage of the project.
To support the project timeline, PCs were delivered ahead of cart deployments, allowing Eastern Health to complete imaging and configuration prior to installation, minimising disruption and keeping the go-live on track.
Behind the scenes, HPA’s team coordinated stock across Melbourne and Sydney warehouses, managed cart builds and preparation, conducted testing and tagging of all equipment, and executed deliveries and installations across multiple sites – overseen by Jade Lester, BDM – ICT for VIC/SA/TAS.
This level of end-to-end coordination, from project planning and logistics through to on-site deployment and post-installation support, reflects HPA’s commitment to being a true delivery partner, not just a supplier.
