The Wamee rapID keyboard combines a washable design and RFID reader to provide first-rate infection control and fast, secure logon.

Wamee has partnered with RFID solutions leader, rfIDEAS and using the WAVE ID® platform have produced an innovative yet retro design keyboard. It enhances workflows due to single sign-on security and is essential hardware for every healthcare facility.

One tap unlocks the workstation and provides ultra-fast entry to multiple systems so you don’t need to remember numerous passwords and save time logging on and off. The combined keyboard and RFID reader saves space as it reduces the number of items required at a workspace.

The USB Micro Integrated Card Reader is dual band capable of reading both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz credentials. It can be configured to read four different card configurations, including frequency, card type and data formatting and works with all RFID card types, including Imprivata.

To help in low light situations the keyboard is back lit with three different colours (aqua, blue, green) and has a membrane switch for quieter, faster key response.
